As a fellowship, we have experienced phenomenal growth. Presently, there are great AEGA ministers, churches, ministries, and bible schools that are a part of this growing Fellowship with members in many countries around the world and the ranks continue to grow daily.

AEGA is an independent fellowship, but we are not anti-denomination. We do not preach against or attack other groups that are in the faith because they hold a different perspective. However, we believe that fellowship is missing in some groups, and this is why AEGA was formed. Since our beginning, AEGA has stressed “fellowship among the brethren” as the one single factor that keeps us in unity and in the bonds of HIS love. We believe that fellowship was important to the early church (Book of Acts), and it should be important to believers today.

As a young fellowship, it is awesome (astonishing) what God has done in us and through us. While some fellowships claim to be worldwide in scope, a close observation will prove that their claims cannot be proven. Why not check us out? WHO WE ARE . . .
We are “The Association of Evangelical Gospel Assemblies, Inc.” (AEGA) We were organized and chartered in 1976 (Title, “Christian Ministries”) in Monroe, Louisiana, USA. In 1988 a new Board of Directors was formed and the name was changed to its present name of AEGA. Godly men, some with forty years ministry experience, helped form the new Executive Board with a fresh vision for soul winning, missions, ministry, and Christian Education. At present, our credential and church division, AEGA Ministries International, Inc., has hundreds of members throughout the USA and in many countries who preach the “Good News.” There are concervatively over 800,000 people (includes ministers, congregations & affiliated/network ministries)involved in the ministries of AEGA reaching into over 60 countries.

The AEGA is a long-standing, balanced, conservative, Trinitarian independent Full Gospel/faith fellowship with a Charismatic distinctive. We strive to be fair and reasonable in all matters. Our Eighteen Fundamental Truths and Constitutional By-Laws are biblically based, sound, conservative, and fair to all without being overly judicial, punitive, or legalistic. The AEGA is known to be a very loving fellowship that truly cares about its ministers and ministries. We appeal to ministers from many different ministerial backgrounds as well as new ministers just starting in ministry. Those ministers who have become a member of AEGA have found they can remain independent yet have the benefits of being connected to a true international fellowship that provides benefits and cares for them.

The AEGA fellowship is largely a ministry TO and FOR ministers, churches, and ministries. We provide ministerial credentials to qualified applicants, 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt status for churches and evangelistic ministries under our group exemption, and can also prepare the paperwork for their church/ministries state incorporations. The International Headquarters of AEGA is located in Monroe, Louisiana in its’ own 70,000 sq. ft. facility that was purchased in 1998 which houses all the divisions of AEGA. Some of the divisions include: Evangel Christian University of America, Omega Bible Institute & Seminary, AEGA World Missions (missions department) as well as other departments. The AEGA has a dedicated full-time staff that keeps abreast of the needs of its members worldwide. They feel it is an honor to be of service to such wonderful men and women of God throughout the world and take their job very seriously not only professionally, but as a ministry. AEGA has a General Executive Presbytery Board and Presiding Bishop Board, which are the governing board of AEGA. In addition, the AEGA has territorial Bishops, international mission directors, ministerial directors, national area coordinator director, area coordinators, and zone leaders throughout the US and other countries to help conduct the operations of AEGA. There is an annual world conference held in Monroe, Louisiana, and throughout the year there are state and regional meetings worldwide to provide fellowship for the members.

AEGA and its divisions publish several newsletters to keep the members informed. The main monthly newsletter of AEGA is called the “Grapevine” which includes informative articles, up-to-date information on tax-laws and requirements for churches and ministries, prayer requests and praise reports, spot-light on ministries, and so much more.

The two educational divisions of AEGA are Evangel Christian University of America (ECUA) and Omega Bible Institute & Seminary (OBIS). They have established several branches in other countries. Evangel Christian University of America has branches in S. Korea and Nigeria. Omega Bible Institute & Seminary (the ministerial training school of AEGA) has branches in seven countries: The Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. A person may attend both schools in the USA through correspondence. The mission department is called, AEGA World Missions. Through our mission programs and projects we conduct yearly ministers’ conferences in several nations, help build churches – orphanages – nursing homes, feed the poor, home missions, provide theological training & books for pastors and ministers, develop Bible schools, provide Bibles in different languages, annual Christmas Box Project, and more. CWO publishes a newsletter to keep the members and supporters informed.

Few newly formed ministerial Associations, if any, have been so privileged in their early years to grow to the privilege of having members in over 40 countries with outreaches and contacts in over 60 countries. Members are supporting the AEGA vision with an excellent giving record as opposed to most associations reporting only a minimal giving record. AEGA remains one of the fastest growing fellowships in the world today. The unity, harmony, and vision for world ministry is certainly shared by all who have chosen to be a part of this unique and thrilling work that God has ordained and so richly blessed.

These men and women of God are available for counsel and prayer whether in the establishment of your ministry or personal spiritual growth. Presbytery provides special ceremony at the annual world conference and local meetings with Laying on of hands. They are ready to assist a church when seeking a pastor or other leaders in the church. They assist AEGA ministers seeking pastorate or other leadership position in affiliated churches. AEGA area, state, and national leadership are available to attend special church events upon invitation.

CHURCH LAW/TAX CONSULTANTS: AEGA has a qualified and experienced team ready to help you set up your church or ministry. They consult and assist new and established ministries/churches to make sure they are in compliance with IRS and state regulations. As a unique and valuable benefit, they are always available to AEGA members anytime at no charge.

BENEFIT OF FELLOWSHIP: AEGA provides an Annual World Conference held at the 70,000 sq. ft. Headquarter Facility in Monroe, Louisiana each June as well as regional and state meetings throughout the year.
